I found this to be orders of magnitude easier than typing and scrolling on the remote screen. Once you’ve finished editing, PocketCloud pastes your newly entered text wherever your cursor is on the remote computer. Tapping this keyboard pulls up a text entry window on your iPhone where you can type your text, enjoy the benefits of the iPhone’s built-in text correction, and see all the text that you enter as you type it. When the iPhone’s keyboard appears, you’ll also see a small triangle appear above the keyboard. PocketCloud has added a surprisingly simple solution for allowing you to work in word processing or perform any text entry on the remote computer. Using this tool keeps you from having to continuously resize the screen in order to see, select, and open documents or choose menu items. Other than these points I think this app has nothing to envy from the Microsoft app and actually, in my opinion, the ability to use the app in both the landscape and portrait orientation gives AccessToGo the edge. The first is a feature called Touch Pointer, which places a draggable pointer on the screen that lets you easily select, drag, click, double-click, and right-click items on the screen with a high degree of precision even if all the icons on the screen are incredibly small. On the dashboard, editing of the different connections or when creating a new one is very difficult and frustrating since the screen is very insensitive to the touch and at times simply do not respond. The desktop is very slow in responding and control is not easy. A major inconvenience, however, is the implementation of the touchscreen features. First, the keyboards setup is somewhat awkward, understandably because they are very thorough, but by relocating their basic kb (Esc, Tab, Shift, etc.) closer to the standard IPhone kb one could avoid having to travel the whole screen up and down to enter one of the key combinations (CTRL-V, CTRL-C, Tab, etc.). There are only two flaws, one minor and the other, unfortunately, major, but easily addressable. This remote client is an excellent performer in most aspects. *Ericom Blaze includes Ericom Secure Gateway – Secure, encrypted access when connecting from outside the firewall Full-screen auto-resize on orientation changes (portrait to / from landscape)
